At B Forster Engineering, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Returns Policy explains your rights and our obligations when it comes to returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Please choose carefully before purchasing.

2. Faulty or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We may request photos or additional details to assess the issue.
Where a product is deemed faulty, we will:

  • Repair the item,

  • Replace the item with an identical or similar product, or

  • Provide a refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

3. Returns Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact us via email or phone with your order number and details of the issue.

  2. Wait for return approval before sending items back.

  3. Return the item in its original condition, including packaging and accessories, unless it was received faulty.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • For faulty or incorrect items, we will cover return shipping costs.

  • For all other returns (where accepted), the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

5. Exclusions

Refunds or exchanges are not available for:

  • Custom-made or fabricated items specifically built to your specifications.

  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or neglect.

  • Sale or clearance items (unless faulty under consumer law).

6. Refund Timeframe

Once your return is received and approved, we will process your refund within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

7. Consumer Guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
